Irises are found around the world. I’ve seen them atop our sky islands and I’ve seen them in a Jordanian desert. They are beautiful and Iris lovers are fanatical. Who can blame them? Our local native is Iris missouriensis and found in moist meadows high in the mountains. That would be a nice trip and maybe you have a good dog that would go with you.
